In recent years, the rise of vector-borne diseases has become a serious public health concern across India and the world. Diseases such as dengue, malaria, chikungunya, and Zika are spreading rapidly, especially in urban and semi-urban regions. The common factor behind most of these illnesses is the mosquito, a small but dangerous vector responsible for transmitting life-threatening infections.

The need of the hour is not just treatment, but prevention, awareness, and systematic control measures. This is where the Vector Diseases Foundation (VDF) plays a critical role.
